Jim was a great guy. I worked with him at Arthur Andersen & Co. back in the late 70's and early 80's He was always a "straight shooter" and made the work we did seem a little less like work. Over the last few years I frequently ran into Jim at the Regency Health and Sport in Reston and he was always upbeat and positive. He will be missed.

My heartfelt condoloences. Jim was an important mentor to me and a friend for many years. I first came to know him as a staff person at Arthur Andersen. After I left AA, Jim was a trusted informal advisor to me in my new career as a "headhunter". I admired him greatly and trusted him totally as proved by a much too large (for me) investment in Venture America which I never regretted. He will be missed.

Jen: Words are inadequte to express how sorry I am for your loss. While I only met your dad a few times, the special relationship you had with him was always apparent, as was the pride he felt in your achievements. As an outsider, it appeared that the three women in his life were his world. May you find peace and solace in each other right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Sharon
