Carmen Ortiz,(89) longtime resident of Sterling, VA, passed away June 14, 2010. Carmen and her husband Delfin (deceased) settled in Sterling in 1972. She is survived by her children; Eileen Eads and her husband Johnny, Kathleen Peterson and her husband Albert and Ashley Ortiz and his wife Carol. She is also survived by four grandchildren; David Eads, Diana Eads, Matthew Peterson and Christopher Peterson. The family will welcome friends from 5 to 8 pm on Friday June 18, 2010 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:45am on Friday July 30, 2010 at Ft. Myer Post Chapel with interment at Arlington National Cemetery
